Dunedin is committed to supporting local businesses and providing accessible and available parking for guests to access the economic hub of our City. Downtown parking is a key component of ensuring success for our business community. Dunedin continues to monitor public and private parking and enhance public opportunities for parking. Current city owned public parking inventory includes: downtown street parking, City Hall surface parking lot, Scotland/Douglas surface lot, and Marina lots. Leased lots available for public parking include: Mease Lot at 601 Main Street, Monroe Street Garage, First United Methodist Church, Ocean Optics

This is measured annually. 

Measure Next Steps

The next measurement will take place 9/30/2026.  Staff is working on a proposed parking garage at 362 Scotland St. involving approximately 190 parking spaces.
